Summer Program

Welcome to Lakeland's Little Learners School-Age Summer Program.

Lakeland's Little Learners has a very active summer program filled with field trips, daily trips to the park and pool, and other planned activities. There are some forms that are necessary in order for your child to participate in this program.

Swimming

Each day, as weather permits, our school-age

classrooms travel to Sunset Park from 1:00-3:00 pm.

Children (with parent permission) can choose

to swim in the newly opened pool or play at the

park. If you choose to pay to allow your child

to swim at Sunset Park (either by purchasing a

membership or paying the daily fee) your child

will be allowed to choose on a given day when he

or she would like to swim or stay at the park. If

you choose not to purchase a pool membership

your child will stay with a teacher at the park and

participate in activities there.

Important Notice: If your child's scheduled pick-up time is between the hours of 1:00-3:15 pm, you may pick your child up at Sunset Park.

Elkhorn Area School District Swim Lessons:

LLL offers transportation and supervision to and from the 2nd and 3rd sessions of swim lessons offered at the EAHS. In order to enroll, your child must be at least 5 years old by September 1st of the school year following summer. We take children to the 10:35 and 11:35 AM classes. If these are the times you want your child registered for lessons, we will register them for you if you give us the appropriate information. If you want your child in any of the other sessions, LLL cannot provide transportation for you. Lessons are M-F for the time periods listed below (each session is 2 weeks long) and children are expected to be there each day. For residents of the EASD, lessons are free of charge. Non-residents of the district are charged $35 per session (make checks payable to Elkhorn Area High School). If you have a school-age student and have paid the summer transportation fee, you have already paid for your busing to and from swim lessons. If you have not paid a summer transportation fee to us, there is a $10 charge for each session to cover LLL transporting your student.
